Meet The Team: Josue "Josh" Luna
Updated: Jul 23, 2018

Towards the end of 2016 F.I.R.S.T. found itself in need of assistance around the shop. Alex Romero our Shop Coordinator was in need of help, he had just lost his right hand man, and keeping things running around the shop is no easy task. It was around this time that we hit the jackpot with Josue Luna or Josh.
As usual, for most new hires, Josh went through our rescue training program and did well. Causing our shop coordinator to have to share Josh with rescue teams. Josh predominately works in assisting Alex at the shop, making sure our fleet is running well, our equipment is organized/ in good repair, and that the teams have all they need. In addition, he goes on rescue jobs and is also a fire extinguisher assistant. And if for some reason F.I.R.S.T. would ever need to hire a musician, Josh could do that too. He told us that one of his passions is music. He plays several instruments, but feels most comfortable with the piano, which he has been playing for 17 years!
Josh has been with us for about a year and a half now and he has proven to be a very polite, hard working team-member. He's able to joke around with his team-mates, but at the same time, when you're around the office, you'll see him intently focused on the task at hand. He has one of the best attitudes and always keeps a positive outlook. Josh we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping all of us out, all while keeping a good attitude and sense of humor.
Interview
What do you appreciate about F.I.R.S.T.?: "The new experience in the field, and being trained to help people, allowing them to feel safe doing their job. When I'm not on the field, or in the shop, I like helping the team have all the things they need in order to complete their job safely."
Outside of work what is important to you?: "Family is important, family comes first. Also my friendships. We like to go to the park, and my family is musically inclined. We like to play music together."
